Need Valentine's Day be painful?

   I will speak for myself and say that after being a single guy my entire life, Valentine's Day has long been a painful day.  It is a day where many people half my age have a girlfriend or are married, yet I am not married, I have never been married, and I do not have a girlfriend.  What I need is a company to come out with a Valentine's box of chocolate which states, "I am begging you to be my Valentine, and I will kiss your feet if you say yes."
   Yet I close by adding I can assure you what I have had on Valentine's Day for 24 years: I have had true love from God.  It is not romantic.  It does not turn many people's heads.  Yet for years I have ended my Valentine's Day knowing that Jesus loves me so much that He physically and spiritually died as the substitutionary atonement for me.  I am grateful to Jesus.  You could say a prayer for me as I seek a date as I hope to one day be married.  And please know that Jesus loves you.  love, Hunter
